🎵 Sound energy
Sound energy is the energy produced by sound vibrations as they travel through a specific medium. Sound energy is a form of mechanical energy.

High volume generates the higher picks of the waves, and the low volume generates the lower picks of the wave. It is because of the air pressure generated. Sound energy is usually measured by its pressure and intensity, in special units called pascals and decibels.
Sound energy density, is defined by:
w = (p.v)/c,
where
- p is the sound pressure;
- v is the particle velocity in the direction of propagation;
- c is the speed of sound.
